    STIHL Easy2Start™ (E)
The STIHL Easy2Start™ system makes starting STIHL outdoor power tools almost effortless, eliminating the need for a strong pull of the starting cord. This advanced starting system is designed to make starting STIHL products easier. The specific system may vary by model, but in each case, a quick pull overcomes the engine’s compression to minimize the strength and effort required to start. Available on selected products.

    IntelliCarb™ Compensating Carburetor
The IntelliCarb™ Compensating Carburetor is designed to automatically adjust the air/fuel ratio when the air filter becomes restricted or partially clogged and maintains the engine’s correct RPM. IntelliCarb™ uses air from the clean side of the air filter to control the diaphragm and flow of fuel. As the air filter becomes dirty and less air is available for the carburetor, the IntelliCarb™ system adjusts the fuel flow to compensate for the decrease in air flow. This is in contrast to typical carburetors that utilize this air from the “dirty” side of the air box.

    Quick Chain Adjuster (QCA) (B)
The Quick Chain Adjuster (QCA) (B) allows the user to adjust the tension of the chain without the use of tools. This allows for easy chain adjustment.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Best lightweight Saw I ever used Power to weight is perfect. Homeowners this is the saw you need to buy, easy to start, operate and maintain. I own three saws and this is the best one. All my family and friends borrow this saw as it is easy to use. June 24, 2015
Rated 2 out of 5 by ran ok but fell aoart I was in the process of cutting apart a small tree and the chain saw top orange cover fell off revealing the manifold, still running I used it and finished what needed, but upon replacing the cover it does not want to stay on. June 15, 2015
Rated 3 out of 5 by this product has great features I like that it is light weight and no tools are needs to adjust chain, but the gas and oil gap look alike causing confusion. Also, for being bran new it is very hard to start if it has been sitting even just a day. June 14, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great product, easy to start and use This was my first chainsaw and after reviewing online all makes and models i had originally settled onthe MS 170 Stihl, but when I arrived at the retailer he showed me the difference between the MS170 and 180 which made it an easy decsion. He showed me how to start and the ease of use when adjusting the chain. I hope it lasts a lifetime. I live on an acre lot and this is just for general tree maintenance and to take down some pines as they fade. Great product so far! June 7, 2015
Rated 1 out of 5 by cheep plastic side panel Cheep plastic side panel and hand wheel tightening that doesn't work. Chain constantly loosens and i have to mess with it for a half hour every time. One of stills worst chainsaws. June 7, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Easy to start and weighs less This product is very easy to start and handle. It's a nice length and weighs less than many other saws. No problems with restarting. Handles good size logs when necessary. Good for trimming up downed trees and cutting up smaller logs. It's perfect for me. June 5, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by MS180 C chain saw I already had a Stihl chain saw, which has been very reliable, but when I saw this one and started it in the store, I just had to have it. It is much easier to start than my old one. It takes less pull on the starter cord to start the saw and the chain adjustment is much easier as well. Don't have to loosen two nuts - Just loosen one handle on the side, make the adjustment and then tighten again - all without any tool. I want to use my old saw as well but the new saw is so much easier that I just pick up the new one without thinking. May 28, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Stihl 180C-BE I had a chance to get my new 180C out in the woods this weekend and it worked better than I had hoped. I have a 290 Farm Boss as well, but I didn't need to fire it up as the 180 handled everything that I threw at it. I cut and bucked several hemlocks in the 12"-18" range and this saw handled it all with ease. My back was thanking me at the end of the day for finally getting a lighter saw. Excellent saw for the money. May 28, 2015
